Rowan Choice and Rowan Opportunity Program
Here at Narrative Media, one of our “best practices” is to build up a robust b-roll library. It’s something that we always encourage clients to do, because it allows you to remain versatile and nimble when opportunities arise.
Both of these spots, for example, were cut together using existing footage we had shot for other projects. Our client needed TV and digital ads promoting the accessibility and desirability of both attaining a 4-year college education and a new institutional partnership for an on-campus living experience.
These spots needed to showcase the many attractive aspects of student living and the residential college experience. We’d already accumulated ample footage and b-roll from several other projects we did with Rowan, so we were able to stitch these ads together like quilt work.
This is another great example of the continuing value that good footage can provide. For each of these spots we were able to write a script, find the shots we needed in our existing b-roll library, and produce the spots in just a few days. Plus, we didn’t need to go to the expense of shooting any new footage. And just like that we had two TV and digital ads to promote Rowan programs.
